Certificate of Alliance

The Hanuman Mission of Ajax, Ontario, Canada and Bhuvaneshwar Mandir of Queens, N.Y, USA, officially signed a Certificate of Alliance, linking both organizations in Toronto and New York as Partners in Hindu Culture.

The Certificate of Alliance was signed by Balliram Chadee, Founder and President of The Hanuman Mission and Shree Prakash Gossai, Founder and President of The Bhuvaneshwar Mandir.

This Alliance is not only an Agreement of two organizations to collectively serve members of the respective communities, but rather seek to enhance and strengthen cultural relationships, as well as teach and advance the Doctrines, Observances, Culture, Traditions and Heritage of Hindus and South Asians between two countries, aspiring to achieve a common goal.

Community Volunteer Award:

The Hanuman Mission and Durham Regional Police Services entered into a joint partnership recognition program in 2005. This partnership resulted in an annual award paid for and sponsored by The Hanuman Mission but awarded by the Durham Police to one individual every year, who contributed to the Volunteerism Section in Durham Region and whose contributions and efforts made a significant difference to the people of Durham Region. This is also the first time ever that the Logo of The Hanuman Mission and the Logo of Durham Police Service had been placed side by side on a single plaque. This initiative was conceptualized by Balliram Chadee, President of The Hanuman Mission and Rod Piukalla, Former Deputy Chief of Durham Regional Police Services.
