The Hanuman Mission through the generosity and contributions of twenty (20) members and supporters, was engaged in the printing and distribution of  Five Thousand Copies of The HANUMAN CHALEESA. These Hanuman Chaleesas were available to anyone desirous of having a copy at NO CHARGE. The 5000 Copies have been DISTRIBUTED FREE to devotees and members of the public, including Hospitals, the Hanuman Temple in Trinidad, and other Temples, as well as copies sent to Trinidad, Guyana, N.Y, Florida, California, Texas, Montreal, Mauritius and across Ontario.

The Hanuman Mission was the First Organization to sponsor The Hanuman Chaleesa which was played on the Tuesday and Saturday morning devotionals on ABC Indian Radio in Toronto.

The Hanuman Chaleesa is now been seen and heard on Masala TV, CHEX Television, Channel 12, every Saturday morning for the first time in the history of Canada.

We provide Outreach, Mediation, Counseling, Spiritual Guidance, Settlement, Integration and Social Support Services to Families dealing with diversity and ethnic situations. We also help with Cultural, Heritage, Tradional or Custom matters in situations such as Sickness, Divorce, Family Conflicts, Death, Seniors, Womens Abuse and Domestic Violence etc.


To date, The Hanman Mission has donated Nine (12) RAMAYANS , through the generosity of its members and supporters, which are now placed in the Chapels of the following Hospitals for reference by the public at large:

Ajax/Pickering Hospital- Balliram Chadee and family
Oshawa Hospital- Deo Koonjbeharry and family
Bowmanville Hospital- Vennie Koonjbeharry and family
Scarborough General Hospital- Leila Correia and family
Centenary Hospital- Aunty Doodoo in Memory of the Late Rishi.
Sunnybrook Hospital- Dave Parsan and family.
Toronto General Hospital- Deo Baboolal and family
Princess Margaret Hospital-  Deo Koonjbeharry and family
Western Hospital- Buddy Rampersad and family

 

PROJECT 2009, was created to ensure that a Ramayan is placed in every single hopsital in Ontario by the end of the Year 2009, executed solely by The Hanuman Mission. This is the First Ever Project of its kind done by the Hindu Community in the Province of Ontario and in Canada and we are extremely proud to be able to visualize, create and execute this initiative.

We now have approx. 275 Ramayanas Donated for Project 2009. Please donate one and help us reach our goal of 375 Ramayanas, so that we can have one in every Hospital in the Province of Ontario. We will do service to Hinduism as well as well as serve the cause of Humanitarianism for Hanumanji. Cost is only $50 Can.
