Cultural Programs

Cultural Programs - The Hanuman Temple.

The Hanuman Temple and Center For Religious & Cultural Research is now conducting several cultural programs, to benefit members of the South Asian community. All programs are open to anyone interested in the Durham Region or elsewhere.

Current programs include:

Music Classes: Harmonium (Sabrina), Tabla (Ashley), Dholak (Devin) & Bhajan singing (Sabrina) began in April 2004. A beginner’s class to teach devotees and interested members to play Dhantal and Mageera is also in session. Classes are held every Tuesday night after Hanumanji Service at Village Community Center, Hwy 2 & Church Street in Ajax. This facility has been made available for our Cultural and Community activities in collaboration with and through the corporation and generous support of the Town of Ajax.
