2006 AUSPICIOUS CELEBRATIONS:
MAHA SHIVA RAATRI: We are celebrating Maha Shiva Raatri on Saturday February 25th 2006 from 8:00pm through Sunday morning 26th at 3:00pm (Saturday night to Sunday morning). All services and puja would be conducted by Pt Shrikanta Acharya. You are welcome to join us, take part in singing, chanting meditation and full puja to Lord Shivaji during this time.

HANUMAN JAYANTI would be celebrated on Thursday April 13th 2006 (day before Good Friday- Holy Thursday).

We are in the Final Stages of Purchasing 2 acres of Land in Ajax for building our Facilities in Phase 1 which is The Hanuman Temple. All Donations recieved go specifically towards this venture in a special building fund which is set aside for this purpose. Please to donate generously and make this Initiative the FIRST of its Kind in Canada and one of a kind in the World ! Unity is Strength and Knowledge is Power, we can do it together!

Congratulations to the Board of Directors for their Major Achievement:

On Thursday October 27th 2005, the Board of Directors of The Hanuman Mission recieved the

ONTARIO VOLUNTEER SERVICE AWARD

for their contributions made to Hinduism, the Hanuman Mission and to the Indo Caribbean Community.

The Board was Nominated by its Founder & President; Balliram Chadee for their many years of dedicated service through Religion, Culture, Heritage and Social Service to the Canadian Community and mankind.

In November 2005 during a Historic Initiative, The Hanuman Mission donated the First Joint Volunteer Service Award Recognition in Partnership with Durham Regional Police Services. This Award is being donated by The Hanuman Mission as a Community Partnership Effort, to acknowledge one citizen in the Durham Region annually for their contributions to volunteerism. The is truely an accomplishment for us since it is the first time the Logo of the Durham Police has been placed alongside the Logo and Name of "Hanuman" in Canada.

We thank all supporters, contributors and devotees who have given us the motivation, encouragement and support needed as a young organization to stay effective and strive to achieving our goals.....
